Scheduling Appointments

To schedule an appointment, please call the office directly. Please inform our staff if your appointment is considered routine, urgent or emergent. Click on a doctor from the list to see office hours and contact numbers.

  • Routine appointments are usually scheduled within a week or sooner based on availability
  • Urgent appointments are usually scheduled within 24 hours or sooner based on availability
  • Emergent appointments are seen immediately in our office. If your situation is life threatening, call 911 or proceed directly to the nearest emergency department. If you can not make your scheduled appointment, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment so as to avoid a charge.

Please be assured that every effort is made to try to see patients at their scheduled times. However, due to the nature of medical care, emergencies do occur which sometimes alters a physician’s schedule.

Cancel Appointment

If you can not make your scheduled appointment, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment so as to avoid a $30 no-show charge.

Referrals

Many insurance plans require a physician to authorize specialist care, x-rays and laboratory tests. Our physicians can often provide a referral during your office visit. If you need a referral at another time, please give us at least 3 business days for processing.

Test results

After your physician has reviewed your test results, we will call you—even if your test results are normal. If you have not heard back from your physician/nurse within 10 days of testing, please contact the office and ask to speak to a nurse.

Prescription refills

Please notify your pharmacy when you have no fewer than 7 days of mediation left and need a refill. Then allow the pharmacy 24-48 hours to reach your doctor to renew your medication. Since we want to have your chart available and provide the safest and most effective care possible, please request all medication refills during office hours.

Insurance plans

The Medical Care Group accepts most insurance plans. Please consult your insurance carrier or our staff to determine your eligibility.

Fees

Payment for medical service is due at time service is provided. Co-payments are determined by your insurance company. Please call your insurance carrier with any questions regarding co-payments for various services. The Medical Care Group will accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Returned checks will incur a $35 surcharge.
